We have some exciting news to share! 2 Crazy Gardeners Landscaping has been named a national winner at the 2026 Hardscape North America (HNA) Awards, taking home the award for Combination of Hardscape Products – Residential (Less Than 3,000 Square Feet)!
This recognition is an incredible honor for our entire team and a milestone we're proud to celebrate with our clients and community.
Recognizing Excellence in Hardscaping
The annual HNA Awards celebrate outstanding residential and commercial hardscape projects from across North America, recognizing exceptional craftsmanship, creativity, and innovative use of materials.
This year's competition featured 135 project submissions from 25 U.S. states and four Canadian provinces, representing more than 2.2 million square feet of hardscape installations.
To have our work recognized alongside so many talented professionals from across the industry is truly something special, especially in one of the competition's most heavily entered categories!
Meet Our Award-Winning Bodega Dunes Project
Our winning entry, the Bodega Dunes Project, is a residential backyard transformation right here in Reno, Nevada.
Designed to create a beautiful, functional space for relaxing, gathering, and entertaining, the project brings together a variety of custom hardscape elements, including:
- A custom fire pit for cozy evenings outdoors
- A water feature that adds movement and tranquility
- An outdoor kitchen designed for entertaining
- Custom pavers that tie the different living areas together
- Thoughtfully placed lighting that enhances the space after sunset
Every element was designed to complement the others, creating a cohesive outdoor environment that feels like a natural extension of the home.
Projects like Bodega Dunes are exactly why we love what we do. There's nothing quite like helping homeowners transform their outdoor spaces into something they've always dreamed of.
A Proud Moment for Our Entire Team
Our co-founder and president, Will Johnson, traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to accept the award on behalf of the 2 Crazy Gardeners team at the HNA Awards Recognition Presentation on October 22, 2026.
While Will had the honor of accepting the award, this achievement belongs to every member of our team who helped bring the Bodega Dunes project to life.
From the initial design concepts to the finishing touches, creating an award-winning outdoor space takes collaboration, attention to detail, and a shared commitment to quality.
We're incredibly grateful to our hardworking team, our industry partners, and, of course, the homeowners who trust us to bring their outdoor visions to life.
Here's to More Beautiful Outdoor Spaces!
Since 2002, 2 Crazy Gardeners Landscaping has been helping homeowners create custom outdoor living spaces throughout Northern Nevada. As a family-owned business founded by Nancy and Will Johnson, we've always believed that exceptional landscaping starts with understanding how people want to enjoy their homes.
Today, we're proud to serve homeowners throughout Reno, Sparks, Incline Village, Truckee, and the greater Lake Tahoe region as we continue expanding our services into Northern California.
Winning a national HNA Award is an exciting chapter in our story, but our greatest reward remains seeing our clients enjoy the outdoor spaces we've helped create.
Thank you to everyone who has supported 2 Crazy Gardeners along the way. We can't wait to see what we create next!
