Outdoor delight

Creating a beautiful and functional outdoor space means finding the right balance between design, sustainability, and each homeowner’s unique needs. 2 Crazy Gardeners, a local, family-owned landscape construction company in Reno, is doing just that. 

“We’ve stayed small so we can cater to our clients’ needs,” says Will Johnson, president of 2 Crazy Gardeners. 

Alongside Nancy Johnson, his mother and business partner, their goal is to blend what’s already in place with fresh ideas in any outdoor design. For them, the biggest goal is making sure the customer is happy. A significant trend they see many people embracing is the current focus on sustainability, where more homeowners opt for drought-tolerant landscapes requiring less maintenance. 

“It depends on the person and what they want, like, and need, but it also has to stay functional within their yard,” he explains.
